I love the line, "two real ladies in the meat!" it's funny but also great wordplay. I also love love love the typewriter presentation, so unique. i immediately wanted to find out more after I finished this!
Both are the same model: Olivetti Lettera 32. I was inspired to get that model when I learned about it as Cormac McCarthy sold his first one. He said he used it over 30 years for almost all his novels. I don't think it makes me write as well as him, but sitting at it, I feel like I'm getting better sometimes!
Heard about this one, my first one is Smith-Corona Zephyr (1970 ish, kind of cheap one, I sold it later) and the current one is Olympia SM-2, (1950ish) love it
